Getting There: To get to the resort, you can fly to the Kahului Airport, a 20-minute flight from Honolulu. The airport is 35 minuted by car from the resort. To get around the resort, use the complimentary Wailea shuttle service.

An exclusive 100-room "small hotel within a hotel", Napua Tower is the centerpiece of the Grand Wailea. Napua and its five guest wings are surrounded by six art gardens, part of a $30-million permanent collection in the resort's "outdoor museum". A 2,000-foot-long river-pool features a 10-minute swim/ride through simulated mountains and grottos with a 35-foot drop to a series of pools with waterfalls, caves, a rope swing, whitewater rapids, a sand beach, and scuba diving pool.

Dine in a traditional Japanese setting surrounded by tranquil gardens, waterfalls, and 800 tons of rocks imported from the base of Mt Fuji. Kincha features creative Japanese and Asian Pacific selections and Maui’s finest sushi bar.

The Wailea Canyon Activity Pool is like having a water park right on the grounds of the hotel! This pool complex consists of nine free-form pools at 6 levels that are all connected by a river which carries you along at varying speed, from white water rapids to lazy currents.
